With most stores who price match, they will price match IF the competeing store has it in stock. If the other store is sold out, then they won't match. I don't know what Walmart's policy is though.

Well it does say "We will match competitors' advertised prices for identical items in stores only on Thanksgiving/Black Friday during the times the competitor's ad is valid". So it looks like they would price match if you go to Walmart on Black Friday with the competitor's ad.
They do match on those days, you just can't buy now and get the gift card later. Of course, they've been matching BF prices for several years (I've picked up several items easily this way). Edit: I do agree, this thread is a fail. They won't be offering price match guarantee (on the 22nd), just cutting some prices to match some items in other stores. Nothing to see here.
It ain't worth it. I went last Thanksgiving evening and it was a madhouse. I had to abandon my cart in a traffic jam of carts.
