And the reason that Adams could anticipate a step-back jumper was b/c Curry's injury prevented him from accelerating at his normal rate. And with Curry unable to blow by Adams, his only remaining option was a step-back jumper.

All the preparation in the world wouldn't allow Steven Adams to single-handedly guard a healthy Curry on the perimeter.

    Haters can only pick one:

    A) Injuries are no excuse.
    B) Warriors got lucky last year due to injuries.

All this talk is irrelevant. Curry is getting roasted right now, an injury report PR piece is not going to save him from the Twitter L's.
I have hated Kobe for the longest time, but I miss his game and his mentality right now. If your team is struggling you have to do whatever it takes, even if it means going 10-40.
LeBron figured that out last season in the finals, tf is Curry doing with his shooting skill.

You don't think he's the GOAT shooter? How about you name a better shooter?

You don't think he has one of the best handles in the NBA today? Name 5 players with better handles.

You think he has weaknesses? What are they?

Must admit, while he does try, his defense is very crappy. He is getting exposed this series.

There's a difference between playing crappy defense and having good defense trumped by better offense.

Well I knew someone would try to dissect my thread and purposely change the subject off topic....I don't watch ESPN anymore, HOWEVER, I do pay attention to headlines and read articles. Understand better?

Curry was afraid to drive in with the shot blockers OKC has in the middle. Either way, Curry is playing like s***. If you want to come up with idiot excuses, then so be it. At this point, he's not helping his team, and if he's injured, he should sit his ass out instead of getting his shot blocked by the likes of Adams.

Actually, OKC kept switching things up until they hit on a lineup that worked in game 3. That lineup was one of their smaller lineups

    In game 1 OKC's 2 best lineups were :

    Adams-Durant-Ibaka-Roberson-Westbrook +8
    Adams-Durant-Kanter-Waiters-Westbrook +7

Game 2, nothing worked regardless of the lineup.

Game 3 it was a smaller lineup that did the damage:

    Durant-Ibaka-Roberson-Waiters-Westbrook +30
    Foy-Ibaka-Roberson-Waiters-Westbrook +6
    Adams-Durant-Ibaka-Waiters-Westbrook + 6

Game 4 it was the same smaller lineup that again was the most successful

    Durant-Ibaka-Roberson-Waiters-Westbrook +26
    Adams-Foy-Roberson-Waiters-WB +3
    Durant-Foy-Kanter-Waiters-WB +3

As you can see, in games 3 and 4 it's been the smaller lineup with 3 guards and no center that has done the job for OKC (+56).

It will be interesting to see if that same Durant-Ibaka-Roberson-Waiters-Westbrook lineup can continue to have that kind of success in game 5.
