Would love that. Let's see these long time Titans fan say they are Texans fan and all this more circle jerking. Then I can say I was here since Corey Bradford.
I am actually a little torn on this issue. On one hand, of course I get tired of the nut-hugging YOF. On the other hand I am not a football version of a Sabremetrician, I do believe there is such a thing as intangibles, and on the surface at least, it appears when Vince has his head on straight he has them.
WOW. 0 int per game in 09? He's started 2 games. Let's go back to his last full season in the NFL, 62.3% 9 TDs and 17 INTS! All the guys around him in INT totals had AT LEAST the same number of TDs. Schuab has a 2: 1 TD-INT ratio. How about everybody freaking out about Vince now after he had a 0 TD game where he threw for 170 yards on only 63% completion %.
My bad for the idiot call. I can't imagine why you think Vince cares more about the city of Houston. Bob Mcnair spent 2 years trying to get a NFL team for Houston and spent an unheard of 700 million of his own money on a Team. Yea, it was an investment but the guy returned Houston's favorite sport to the city. To say you are supporting a Bud Adams team over a Bob McNair team and your reason is care for the city....very odd to say the least.
Vince has thrown an interception this year. It would actually be nice to have a legit discussion about any progress he's made after watching these first two games. the test will always be can he throw the ball when they absolutely need it. he looked decent yesterday as a passer and they, and they did play from behind a little that game. missed some really easy throws, made a couple of of very big ones. but its like Dan Dierdorf was saying in the Miami/NE game about Miami, you have to have a legit passing game in this league. I used to argue that Vince was a really good passer coming out of Texas and I really believed based on the fact he led the nation in passing his senior year. but now I can't say that, hopefully he finally improves. besides the low yardage, he's looked decent in the two games. The interesting thing about yesterday is that we saw the first qb drafted in 05 and the first in 06 both of whom have been for the most part disappointing go at each other. Alex is a really smart guy but he is still making mistakes, Vince is not so smart according to most reports but he has played mistake free for the most part. I really think people overrate how smart a guy has to be, its still just football.
are you talking about last game? VY ran for a touchdown. Chill out dude. Call of Duty MW2 is coming out soon.
