Guaranteed that he would be in the Hall of Fame when he can't even guarantee that he will be the starting QB for a team.
Agreed. I think Fisher's an incredible coach, but his ball-control, grind it out philosophy has hampered his teams in the past. This is why you see Rob Bironas kicking 5 or 6 field goals a game. He'd rather win games like 13-6 than go into a duel. Hell just look at how his drafts go -> he loads up on defense and running backs.
Well, they can certainly influence his attitude. He was a total b*tch last season and refused to even speak with Kerry Collins and constantly pouted on the sidelines as opposed to staying involved and...heaven forbid...actually learning something from a QB who has also seen ups and downs. I think a lot of that probably had to do with his "inner circle" telling him he was still the best QB out there and that the Titans were screwing him over...
You adopted them as your team when the Texans wouldn't draft VY. How dumb does that decision sound to you now? If VY does get a change of scenery, will you adopt his new team as your team? If he is out of the league in two years like most predict, then which team will you adopt? I'm curious.
the usual suspects, anyway the only reason I feel the need for posting in another vy sucks thread is because he's probably only repeating what his old coach said on rome is burning the other day.
Vince Young says. That he wants to know Why he's given half his life, to a sport he hates now Vince Young says. When answering the phone What team shall I say is calling, from across the league? But he's not afraid to lie, the people all call him Alaska Between worlds so the people ask him 'cause it's all in his mind It's all in his mind.
I'm pretty sure this isnt' true. He and Collins did talk so I'm not sure why you're saying he refused to talk to him. Also, what do you guys want him to say? Isn't having a competitive streak a good thing? Who wants their QB to come out and say "I'm going to be mediocre for the rest of my career."?
Being black was a stigma especially at the QB position, so it wasn't until recently, when teams started drafting and playing black quarterbacks. It would also be very naive to be incredulous as to why there was only one black coach to win the Super Bowl.
So Vince still doesn't have his head on straight yet? At this point, I don't know if he's really confident or that he's crazy.
