I know lots of people hate Ron since him leaving and the team he went to, but this was hillarious. I did not see any of the game maybe if Rockets lost I would have been pissed but I loved it. If he did it with the Rockets I would have the same reaction priceless.

Was the brawl @ the Palace entertaining? Was Kermit Washington's cheap shot on Rudy T. entertaining to you?

Throwing someone's sneaker as they are trying to pick it up, while it may be entertaining to you, impedes the progress of the game. Does Dikembe's finger wag do that?

There has to be a line somewhere.

That was pretty funny. Actually, I think we're going to miss that come playoff time. Most championship teams have at least one irritating player that gets under the skin of the opposition, e.g. Rodman, Laimbeer, D Fisher, Rick Fox. That's what Ron does--irritate. I'd still take Ariza over Artest tho.

Artest has been just jealous. He wanted to stay as a Rocket, but Morey did not even offer him a contract because both Morey and Adelman like young Ariza. That is why Artest hates Ariza.

Ron's an idiot. I bet if one of the Rockets did that to Kobe, we would have been T'd up and fined.

Ron was doing what he thought was needed to do to get an advantage. He wanted to win. Everyone has their own way of wanting to win.

I realized the depth of this thought when listening to 97.5 (espn radio in Houston) and they were discussing the soccer chick who was punishing the other girls big time. She did what she thought needed to do to win the game.

You guys saying he is a dick need to remember, he is pissed at the Rockets. We screwed up his bird rights so he is gonna do whatever to get his little revenge and make him happy. But all in all, we won, with him doing that. With Lamar dribbling outta bounds and not getting called. With Fisher over playing defense hardcore with no calls.

We won. Focus your energies on what our the Rockets doing to win.

Now I have to watch Pacman.

im sure Ron was trying to get a physical reaction (No homo) out of Ariza so he could nail him and say that Ariza started it.

I thought it was funny and harmless until Artest drains the 3. I'm waiting for the Lakers to implode.

I think he did it so no one would sprain their ankle when they made it down back to the court...

    Thanks

That was original & totally hilarious!!

Had it been a Lakers shoe, Ron would have handed it to the player. When he saw a Rox shoe, he tossed it off court, not into the stands. He was just clearing the opponent's debris off the court. No need to throw a hissy fit. Besides it gave Trevor a few seconds rest so in the 4th quarter, he would be fresh enough help put the finishing touches on the Lakers. ;)

Gotta look on the bright side!

Clearing debris? C'mon. He was taking Ariza out of game-play. It was a heady play. The shoe-toss and Ariza's reaction are both funny. I can laugh because we won the game.
