He is putting it together lately. At times he looks like the best player out there in all around skills. If he could just harness that every night into a consistent effort, he would take off.
lol. Yeah, all the passes he was dishing to open men who were bricking shots....that was his fault. If he was any good and was facilitating correctly he would have just passed it through the hoop huh? Jesus, some people will find anyway possible. Did anyone say he had more points than Morris through these two games? Has it occurred that maybe they are working on different parts of their game this preseason? Could it be possible that points alone don't speak to the value of having a player on the court?
I think we can be happy for both of them. Good preseason performance by Twill, and one good game by Morris. Would be better to have the normal 5 to 6 games but we have to go to war now. We beat the Spurs, and almost did it again. That is pretty good. If only Thabeet could pan out.................
Seeing a dunk like that makes me wish that there was a sequel to NBA Street Homecourt on the horizon...but then again, that's the gamer in me talking. Let's hope he puts up more performances like this once the actual season starts. I doubt it, but I'd love to be proven wrong.
dunk(s) were super nice and refreshing on a team that had below-rim players mostly. however, what we should really get excited about is twill's tremendous progress. he did everything that we want him to do. -played great defense, active hands, hustled back -did not force things on offense and created for others without unnecessary turnovers -rebounded and did all the fundamental things to good basketball. kudos to you young sir. Keep it up and you'll be starting soon
No kidding. Honestly I was against the T-will trade when it happened, I had no clue why we would be trading draft protection in a loaded draft for yet another wing player. If he keeps it up though he'll be worth it. All he needs is more discipline, a working jumpshot and we'll have one of the budding stars in the NBA.
That's what makes it even cooler. Unlike some Ass clown named Javale McGee trying to act hard when he dunked over some rookie stiff.
