i dont like how his list of sacrifices included coming off the bench and spotting 10 mins. a game. he shouldve said something like. ill vow to grab every lose ball, ill promise to stay positive in the locker room all day everyday no matter what, ill play 48 min. a game at the center position. wutever it takes!!!

He's trying to make it clear he's not going to be selfish. Of course his role will not be a 6th or 7th man.

Stevie A Smith can really botch interviews. Instead of spending most of the time of the interview regarding the future, he spent 90% of it on an event that happened 4 years ago.

It seemed to me he was just trying to get Ron upset, and I think it worked.

I'm beginning to realize this crap is going to be pulled throughout the year. Ron will have to work hard to keep his focus and determination to win.

Oh my god! I like this guy already. He gave us a lot of ego to try to create the chemistry, even though Yao's comments were probably too frank. That show commitment. I believe him now that he join the team to win. Can't wait for the next season! All the way, baby!!!

The guy is a complete psychopath. It's obvious from interviews that he has absolutely no remorse for his role in the brawl. When asked about it, his response is either that that was his upbringing/culture, or that he regrets losing endorsement money.

Whatever. He's not a role model. Let's just hope he keeps his act together.

The potential to blow up is definitely there. He has been able to do relatively well since his last publicized domestic disputes which gives me some hope.

The only thing for sure's that he is extremely volatile and expressive.

However, calling him a psycho might be a little out of hand there. From what we've all seen from interviews and such, Ron Artest genuinely comes off as a nice guy. Maybe he has problems with anger management, maybe he has problems with a short fuse, keeping his emotions in check. That happens to even the most civilized men.

I'm sure there're many guys out there who'd react the same way if he feels he's been slighted. Maybe as a professional athlete, Ron shouldn't have acted how he did at the brawl, but just because he's a professional athlete, does that make him exempt from all the emotions normal people like us feel? I don't think so.

Blame it on his anger management issues or whatever, just leave some objectivity in mind before labelling him a psycho.

Just my 2 cents'. We'll see how this move pans out in a couple months time.

he knows what he did was wrong, he's just got a lot of pride.

he got provoked, he reacted, and it was the wrong move. i think he's acknowledged that.

he wants to change, and seems passionate about it, give him a break. if some douche threw a soda in my face i'd crack the *****s too. sometimes you don't think.

anyway, that interview fires me up so bad. i want the season NOW.

but also praying for health too, lol.

Was hoping it was going to be a bit longer.

Aren't these Sunday conversations usually alot longer - and in 2 parts?

Nevertheless, I liked what I saw.

    Dude is ready to roll.

I was hoping that Ron would just reach out and smack Stephen Ass Smith in the mouth. That look on his face when he said "What more do you want!" He looked like he was about to snap. And SAS deserves to be smacked.
