But we don't want to get too attached to him, to where we don't take a good trade chance.

Remember Aaron Brooks? His trade value peaked, and we kept him even though other teams were offering. The NBA is too sporadic to depend on a player to be consistent season by season.

Unlike Patterson, Brooks is an idiot. Patterson has all the tools to be a star player in the league. Hard to believe this kid is a rookie sometimes.

Didn't we all make the same excuse for Brooks? "Player X is definitely not like player Y. He's special!"

I didn't. Brooks has always been too inconsistent for me, personally.

Once again, nonsense. He will be a great complementary player to the star player we will then have.

Coincidentally, in 2K11. His overall rating jumps to 95 within two seasons. Superstar worthy.

It's a stretch... but I'm praying to god that this becomes a reality!

Liked Pat from day one unlike Jordan Hill. It's only one game but he is real versatile.

ehh... not impressed I can see him being a solid player off the bench like milsap or mcdyese though, but nothing special.

Patrick Patterson is a big part of our future.

...and Tayshaun is a class act.

    Go Rockets!

Milsap and McDyess are good players. If that's what he turns out to be, I'm cool with that.

I actually think he will be better than those two. He already has a very good shot.

I'd be very happy if he turned out to be like those players.
    Solid players for solid teams.

If he turns out better, wonderful.

Do you have an idea how good McDyess was before his injury?
