The interior D from the C is just as important if not more so than the PF. Many PFs now roam around the perimeter or free throw line and pull Scola away from the paint. The Rockets need to replace 6'6" Hayes at C.

Even then, the Rockets main problem with interior defense is not post-up defense from the bigs. Hayes and Hill are very good at post-up defense. Rockets are getting burned by penetration. Rockets have no shotblocker or no 7 ft C blocking the lane. Having a 7 ft PF being pulled away by Dirk doesn't do us any good, when we need a 7 ft C to stop the penetration and intimidate the little guys that dare to come into the paint.

Forget about replacing Patterson. It's time to replace Chuck.

I wouldn't call Twill out of control, he merely tried to make something happen when nothing was happening. Unfortunately in alot of the trash minutes players on offense weren't cutting as hard as they should be, forcing Twill to go one on one. As he settles in and becomes more comfortable with his teammates I expect we will see much more positive possessions out of him than negative ones.

(I know Rockets just played the Jazz)

Gerald Wallace played out of control too as a young player. Different position and that does not justify Terrence Williams playing like that. Just that you have to let a player work it out on the floor to polish up his game. Its not like Williams is a total wild man, he just needs to improve his overall decision making and shot selection.
