I disagree, that's just typical for most rookies...people assumed he couldn't play or didn't have any unique skills because he wasn't getting any PT. They assumed lack of PT = lack of talent. It's pretty ridiculous when posters say a player like this needs to be cut and doesn't belong in the league. People also assumed we got fooled into picking the worse of the twins. Even Twill wasn't counted out as quickly. Also, CXbby's thread raised expectations incredibly high...the casual fan, which is probably a majority here, therefore expected greatness quickly and turned on Morris when he didn't even come close to it.

I know it's the D-League, but he definitely DID do something there. (There were only 4 guys who scored more than him).
What value one puts on the D-League is irrelevant, to say he didn't do much there is simply false!

I think we need to all learn a lesson from this kids growth. A vast majority of us on this forum thought this kid was a lost cause look at him now. I think we need to be patient with all our current young players.

The only time he ever got last season was garbage time and a few minutes in the last game of the season when there was nothing on the line for either team save better chance at the lottery. People were still writing him off as a bust when his total time all of last season was less minutes then the average comic book superhero movie.

Really nice release, it guides the ball well, proper spin. Absolutely no hitch to it.
