Do you always throw on a shirt when your significant other starts the pillow talk?

I remember last season's first preseason game. Kevin McHale was the color commentator and he had his eye on Jordan Hill. First half--he was criticizing him continuously but during the second half, when Hill started playing better, Kevin started appreciating him.

Looks like even back then he knew what was lacking in Jordan's game. It's good that he knows how to break post moves down and give them the reps so that the young guys can absorb them better.

I hope this whole NBA thing works out for Jordan, because the only other place I can think of that will hire him with all of those tattoos is Whole Foods.

Did you see the game? The game Twill played 26 minutes in?

The same one he went 7-13 with 9 boards?

Just leave out the first half and all those fouls and turnovers against NBA level competition.

    ;)

    It must be the hair....

He looked a lot more in control this year. I can tell he has been working hard on his game and it shows out there on the court. He did extremely well. Now I see why he was the number 8th pick in the 2009 draft. He has the size, the athleticism and strength. He now just has to put it all together to be a efficient player. If he can add a few more pounds without losing his mobility, he would be a perfect center for Houston.

Whenever Hill goes out and Thabeet would sub in for him, it was like watching paint dry. I don't know what it is but I was cheering for Thabeet to do well also like Hill. But watching him play makes me cringe. I just can't stand how lazy he is out there. His defense is crap. Standing at 7'3, Thabeet was getting scored on in the paint by every Spur. Players would just shoot over him, or just drive to the basket and Thabeet wouldn't even challenge the shot. That entire game, I didn't see Thabeet went for a block at all. Maybe it just me but he was just downright terrible. I mean he was playing defense with his hands down.

I think there was a point where Matt Bullard even said that Thabeet needs to start putting his hands up on defense because guys are just scoring so easily on him. I don't know if he sucks that bad or he just really lazy. He couldn't get a rebound because his teammate Twill who is 6'6 is getting all of his rebounds for him. He couldn't catch a ball when he was open. I just don't know what he is there for now. I mean he can't play defense because he doesn't put his hand up, doesn't challenge shots or go for blocks, extremely lazy, can't rebound and catch the ball. No offensive game... Thabeet was drafted for his shot blocking ability and defense. He is not known for his offense so I understand he sucks on the offensive end. But on defense, he was still terrible. This is his contract year and if he doesn't try to improve one bit, he might as well kiss his NBA career goodbye,

I agree with most of it. Very frustrating to see him like that however I hope for the very best. Maybe we should ship his ass to Europe. He can develop there if he does not pan out in this shortened season.

I bet Malick Badiane would have turned out to be a better defensive player than Thabeet if the Rockets would have ever brought him over.

I thought the same thing :p It suits him much better. Makes him look more mature/focused. Or maybe that was just his game talking.

How many times did Hill just say: "you know" in that interview ? :)
    The interviewer should've said: "No, I don't know, that's why I asking you, ****! :p
