This dunk and the one he crossed over John Wall and flushed it against the Wiz are Lin's best 2 slams.
On NBA.Com it's the #3 play of the day, and the Block of the Night. And it's trending on the front page. And yah... block, coast to coast and slam on Garcia was sick.
I didn't take it as racist if that's what you were insinuating, I can see where he's coming from. Lin has good vertical speed and a quick first step, but no lateral quickness and slow handles. He can outrun you down the court, but he ain't shaking anyone in the half court. There's a reason why he struggles to stay in front of his man a lot and it's always a struggle for him to beat his man off the dribble, it's never done cleanly.
Well glad to know Lin is adding to his game, I knew he could dunk but not like this hopefully we see more dunks and not missed layups
Funny how flashy plays like dunks are given so much attention when there are plays that aren't flashy but contribute more to wins. A dunk and a layup are both 2 points.
True but dunks are more efficient and almost always guarantee 2 points unlike finger rolls, layups, tear drops that can bounce off the rim. Ask Patrick Ewing he'll tell you.
There's a reason why more people watch the NBA than the WNBA, even though 2 points is 2 points in both games.
