Did McHale try to sub Beverly for Lin in the interview?

Nope. Still 12.9. I have just a bit higher expectations for Lin than yours at 14.5 for the year. Happy about his consistent trend towards that goal though.

He isn't going to get to 14.5 points average by the end of the season. There aren't enough games for that. He would literally have to average close to 20 points a game from here on out for that to happen. He will likely finish with 13 & 7 on 44% FG 33 3P%.

Can somebody address the blocking foul they called on Harden when Stiemsma pushed him?

That's respectable considering the poor start he had at the beginning.

He won't average 14.5 at the end of the season, but for me that's not important. Lin has been improving at a consistent rate throughout the season, since the All-Star break Lin has been average 14.5 ppg, 5.9 apg on 46% FG%. He's had a good month of March thus far as well. In 7 games, he's averaging 15.3 ppg, 5.6 apg on 50% FG%. To me, it's not about his yearly averages because as long as he's improving with every game he's doing fine. At this point i'm extremely confident in saying that JLin will average 16 ppg and around 7 apg next year. Only a handful of NBA players can do that, but Lin's improvement has shown so far in this season that he has what it takes. The kid is still 24 afterall
