Its realy strange that some people thought he is not worth a big contract. He came to Houston and delivered great numbers. OK sometimes he is pushing to hard but hey he is just 23. Even this he came here ready and in good shape. I just hope he doesnt have to carry this team alone for long and Morey is able to sign someone who can carry this team with Harden.

 

Love how McHale says Harden is "deceptively fast".

 

One of the best performances I've ever watched live on TV, or at a game.

Just at another level.

And let's not discredit Jeremy Lin-- he was aggressive and confident tonight. He WANTED the ball down the line, and he made some BIG shots. Lin is getting some swagger back.

 

Mid-range game?

It's a 3pt shot or drive(and foul). No in between game.

 

Nothing, but he did not call him a complete player, and made sure to talk about him offensively, as I am sure he is wanting more defensively.

I'm too lazy to check the stats but I've gotten the impression that Harden has a very solid mid-range game. It's just that the Rockets as a team don't believe in the mid-range game.

Offensively he really is great. Unfortunately, on defense he is pretty horrid, mostly due to lack of effort. But with his offensive responsibilities that is understandable. Hopefully we get him some more help next year, and Chandler and Lin should both be better as well.

I usually prefer to watch teams that are excellent defensively, but I must say, this Rockets team is extremely fun to watch!
