Seriously, holy **** his heart must of dropped to his balls when spinning backwards towards then railing of the bridge, he seriously could have died, thank god nothing happened.

 

if you really examine it, Harden was doing a "Eurostep" move. He orients the segway slightly right while trying to maintain a straight forward motion which can't be done those hitting the guard rail. In a "Eurostep" you make the side step seem more definitive laterally when in actual it is a subtle lateral move before propelling back into a straight line. The verdict: Force of habit.

That rail is insufficient for Segway riding. Ok for walking, but sheesh. Luckily that section of the bridge/walkway was wide enough that when he landed on his feet he was still a good ways from the railing.....but still
