I hope he takes over Hill's spot. Come on son, we are counting on you.

I wasn't able to watch the game, but I noticed he also picked up five fouls in under twelve minutes... would anybody who actually watched the game be able to comment on that? I mean, it's great that he got four blocks, but he needs to be able to stay on the court to be helpful for the team...

First foul was definitely a rookie foul, Millsap got the rebound and Smith got his hands on it and should've been jump ball.

Second foul was a classic foul of wanting to do too much, he poked the ball away from Big Al and then went for the ball but CJ Miles / Bell had it and he knocked him on the floor. Jazz commentators made a good observation that Smith needs to realise how big and strong he really is :)

Third foul was the worst, he came out on a pick and roll and switched on Harris who ran into his arm / chest and they called a foul. Smith even had his arms spread out horizontally but as you know his arms are loooooong but he cannot help that and refs need to realise how big he is, but that will come with him.

Fourth and fifth were bad fouls by playing basic defense and I think he just slapped the arm of Millsap / Big Al or something along those lines.

And btw, Smith looks good, quick legs, good anticipation, could be the next Chuck Wagon on this team. He needs to work really hard though.

He moves great on defense and could become a good backup center if he tempers himself on the floor and stays out of foul trouble.

He played well against a former all star and another player that has been hot for months now in Jefferson and Milsap. We should expect great things from this rookie in the next few seasons.

Who was the former allstar.... Only one being Devin Harris
Jefferson and Millsap always close but no cigar.

I wonder if foot work is something you're born with or you learn because Hill seems athletic but his footwork is awful while this 20 year old seems to have great balance and feet.

You know, I don't think that is funny one bit. The guy is a potential break out player in this league and we ALL know he injured his back sitting and rising from those little tiny bench seats:rolleyes:

Wrong. He averaged 4 blocks in 10 minutes. That would 40 blocks a game. Dream better watch out. Smith plays one full season and he'd equal the top 3 career blocks put together lol.
