While watching the game, I learned that Green is actually missing half of one of his fingers, on his SHOOTING hand if I'm not mistaken. Incredible. Makes it hard to not root for him

That play has to be my favorite so far this season. Shame it was on us though. But man watching that live gave me reactions and feelings like no other finish.

One day, I wish I can be at a game when something like that happens.

Yeah, I remember reading some freak accident happened causing him to lose one of his fingers.

This has to be dunk of the year. Still waiting for some game winners that cause you to jump out of your seat from this shortened season.

Here's the story i read on google.

There are a few theories floating around as to why Gerald Green tumbled down to the 18th pick in the NBA Draft.

Here's one: Some NBA executives were wary of Green's right ring finger, which is about an inch short.

When he was 11, Green was playing in his Houston home, where he had put up a makeshift hoop over a doorway. While wearing his mother's class ring, he caught the ring on a nail that was holding up the basket.

"I was trying to see how high I could jump," he said.

Almost a decade later, Green's father, Gerald Sr., still cringes when talking about the accident.

"They couldn't re-attach it," the elder Green said. "So they had to shave off part of his finger. I had nightmares about it."

"It was amazing that no one (from the NBA teams) asked me about it," agent Andrew Vye said. "I brought it up because I didn't want it to be a surprise to people when he was in Chicago (for pre-daft camp)."

You must be talking about Twill's reaction to one of his dunks in one of the Summer leagues, where he dunked and took off his jersey... that's overkill. At least Green is actually putting together more effort in games.
