Since there will be no basketball or football next year, I'm trying to rekindle my love for baseball so I have something to do. I have always found that video games or fantasy sports are the best way to get me interested in a sport. I already drafted my fantasy team and now I have to decide . . . The Show Vs. 2K The Show got an 8 on IGN. 2K has not been reviewed yet. Any opinions from people that have played them? What's the good? Bad?
Haven't played 2k in years, because The Show has been pretty good. RTTS mode gets better every year. The last few years they have actually listened to the complaints and attempted to fix them. I always enjoy taking a player from minors up to majors. Unfortunately I can't speak for online, because I am a casual player and don't have time to play online.
The Show hands down the best simulation baseball game out there for me. I buy it every single year, and every year I love this game. I was still playing 2010 up until now. The Show also incorporates Move for the home run derby, and I hear from reviews that its pretty accurate. If youre on the fence, just buy it. On slickdeals, they have for it $36 after coupon from Modells. Thats the best price you'll see for a new game.
Oops! Guess that ended. Thanks for the update! The 2nd best price I found would be newegg. $50 no tax free shipping. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produ...&cm_re=mlb_the_show_11-_-79-261-270-_-Product
2K11 is a horrible game. The show has been my favorite sports game since it came out a few years ago. No comparison. Show blows it out of the water.
I took advantage of the deal Pugs posted in the other thread, 36 dollars for a new game is truly a steal. Not much of a gamer but all the reviews i've read about The Show 11 have been sparkling. Sounds like one of the most realistic sports games ever made, couldn't resist.
