It's always smart to wait a week for two for Bethesda games, as they always come full of bugs that have to be patched. Having said that....I don't have that kind of patience. I'll be playing tonight.
Same. Bought it digitally and got the preload going. Glad I have the next two days off so I don't have to call in to work.
So I preordered it at the Microsoft store at the galleria and just found out that they won't have a launch event at midnight....
I would have, but I had some gift cards left over from when I bought my XB1. PC was out of the question because I don't have the cash to upgrade my GPU. Oh well
Fallout 1 and 2 where released in the late 90's basically nobody has played those. Fallout 3 and New Vegas where released in 2009 and 11. Both are fantastic but I don't think not playing them will hurt the Fallout 4 experience at all.
Too many hobbies. I was going to use this as an excuse to get an XB1. Sadly my money has to go elsewhere for right now. I'll get the XB1 and Fallout 4 a little down the road. It's very hard not over extending myself. I will try and console myself by telling myself how much self control and self discipline I have for not buying the XB1 and game right now.
At least you'll be able to get the game in its prime when the modding community is tearing into the game and Bethesda has hopefully fixed many immersion/game breaking bugs!
Kinda funny how you reiterated the same thing twice. If you want the game so bad, why not buy it on PC? Just curious.
Went to 'midnight release' at bestbuy at katy fwy but they werent open.. did they release early? someone on facebook says they released the game at simultaneously nationwide???
Played for about 3 hours now. Really amazing stuff, yet again, from Bethesda. Haven't even completed many quests at all. Just love exploring.
Well, technically I got a copy of fallout 3, a lame perk poster, and the option to resell/loan my hard copy if I ever want to. So that's a few reasons to go hard disk.
