For those with just a little bit of patience, FO4 will probably be on sale, just a couple of weeks after it's released, for Black Friday.
^ I want to be patient, but I'm not optimistic about console games going on sale so soon (2+ weeks) after launch
If it is it'll be like $5 off at best. But for those without a PS4 or XboxOne i would expect a black friday bundle
I got GTA 5 two weeks after its release for $40. It was on sale on Amazon and I got Frys to price match it. Fry's has since changed their price matching policy with Amazon but Best Buys still does it.
No. I've done this before, with other AAA games, and the price drop is either to 39.00 or 29.99, usually half.

This or Black Ops III. Such a dilemma. Spoiler Nah I'm kidding. COD is gonna suck. LETZ RUN ON DA WALLZ
So, I never really understood the appeal of the Fallout franchise. Your goal is just to explore the remains of a nuclear fallout, right? Is there a plot that really drives this game, or does it follow something akin to GTA (open world sandbox, the story is what you make of it, etc.)
It has a plot, and a morality based system. Your quest starts and you are usually given choices of which path to take. You can make good or evil desicions, but there is a start and end to the story. It is like GTA, there are a million side quests so you can put off the main story any time you like.
The main games in the Fallout franchise are all RPGs (Fallout 1, 2, 3, New Vegas and 4) with very strong story elements & various competing factions that you can join/help which branch the story in different directions etc. The Fallout games are more similar to the Elder Scroll series (Skyrim, Oblivion), Dragon Age, Mass Effect etc than GTA.
That one in Washington DC was great. I loved it once you hit the national mall and the Capitol. The New Vegas was good, but not great. I hope they can take it to the next level in this iteration and not just more of the same. The aliens got a little weird for me but by that point in the game I was good with it. Hope it is a ton of fun!
Reviews are in. Metacritic scores: 89 (PC); 90 (PS4); 91 (XBX1). These are great for someone like me who has never played a Bethesda game but I'm not sure if these reviews will sway me from getting into the Witcher 3 or MGS V first.
Using a VPN. Game is fun as hell. Sadly there are bugs. One forced me to reload a save from 20 minutes earlier. lol
