Class act. If we had a team ready to win now, I'd love to have him

Celics fans not happy with Lee. Apparently he looks lost and isn't quite playing well, name coming up in trade rumors constantly.

The issue with him is that he hasn't taken it to the next level yet. But, you can't really put it all on him. The guy's been stuck in bad situations that seemed hamper his development. He was drafted by a very good team (Orlando) and looked like a great piece alongside Dwight. But, after that, he was traded to NJ, where, coming from him, he just felt lost. Then, he spent two seasons here where he had to play behind Martin. Neither of 'em could play SF. Martin was stringy while Courtney was too short - he was good but he wasn't expected to be a stud like those rare 6'5~6'6 guys that could play SF. That said, he looked really, really good after replacing Martin last year.

I'm really wondering how he'd look now if he didn't have to play behind Kevin Martin. Might be a really strong rotation player by now, like a Harden lite.

I realllly liked his short tenure here, his defensive hustle on smaller guards were legit

Chicago missed out big time not accepting our Lee for Asik deal.

Lee would have been a perfect fit for them.

I miss Courtney Lee more than either Lowry or Dragic. He would be a great fit on this current team. He is a much better defender than TD, has better court vision and is a much better shooter. Plus he had great chemistry with Parsons (as well as Dragic).

Lee is a true SG, unlike Douglas. And he would complement either Lin or Harden. Delfino is a poor man's Courtney Lee.
