    What I do not understand about this type of stuff is this: It was a great alley oop. Jordan is very athletic. But would you, as a coach, prefer Knight to NOT try to block that pass? The easy thing to do is just let it go. The hard thing, the competitive thing, is to try. Yet, the guy who does what he should is blasted for it. I will never understand it why people reward weakness. I think Knight showed a lot of heart.

    I don't think anyone is disputing Knight showed a lot of heart and courage...but that was some misplaced courage. Stepping in the lane to try to take on a dunking DJordan is foolhardy enough for a forward/center. For a guard? It's pretty silly. Imo that's outside his paygrade. If he didn't step in the lane, I don't think ANYONE on his team, fans of his team or NBA fans in general, could or would hold it against him. I don't even know if he was tryna go for the steal or legitimately trying to block DJ, either way, BKnight shoulda just kept it moving.

    Word is Spike Lee was sitting 2nd row. He couldn't(maybe just didn't?) even get courtside seats at a Clips game. Had some kids sitting in front of him(maybe those kids).

    what kind of resistance do you want? undersized? yes. but he tried as hard as he could without fouling. if frederick weis put up any resistance remotely close to Knight's, Vince Carter would not have got that dunk of all time.
