That guy is like the white version of Kevin McHale. Wonder how he doesn't trip over his balls on the way to the hoop...

How did this guy fall so far?

He seems to have a great feel for the game and plenty of athleticism.

I remember reading his shot was supposed to be a weakness but that looks good too.

His shooting form is fine, the consistency just isn't there yet. Maybe increased confidence will bring that, but I'm sure he'll improve as he grows in the league. Not everybody is a great shooter when they come into the NBA.

It's just something that'll improve as time goes on...he did nail two clutch shots though.

i don't understand the parsons vs bud comparisons (as in one makes the other obsolete). what parsons is doing is no different that what bud has done for the past year... hustle defense and finding the open spots of offense (aka - not forcing their shots). while parsons is a better rebounder and a longer defender - i think that their styles are very complementary of each other.

both are role players who need others to help them create their own shots (remember - bud was in the top of the league last year in assisted shots).

less defensive able/more offensive able versions of battier.

i like both of them over twill any day.

You are SEVERELY underselling Parson's defensive potential if you think he's at all comparable to Chase Budinger. Parson's is a player who has skill on both ends of the floor.

The only thing Parsons and Budinger have in common is they're both white. They play the game totally different though.

He'll have enough money to buy proactive now, though.
