Besides, we need to keep him if for nothing else than the "Hey Bud, let's party" comment after every dunk.

Y'all need to watch more tape on Parsons. He's definitely not a spot up shooter. Is he slow? Yes, sort of, but he's not novak. It think he's just lacking explosion. He's got good speed moving away from the ball and with the ball he's got solid handles. What helps him is having good moves, like a fake, that helps get that half step ahead. He's got good instincts. What makes a lot of spot up shooters "suck" is that they can't really threaten to drive or make good passes, so the defenders just have to guard their shot. Parsons can drive and pass, so defenders can't always play tight on him, which helps him overcome a slower first step.

Remember he was projected to be a first rounder, could have gone around 25-27.

Parsons is a good fine. Love how the Gator players make solid NBA Players. He's had a great deal of exposure and you can tell from his body language. He understands how the game is played, has great height for his position and thinks pass first. A guy like this will be better the more talent you put around him. Personally I like all 3 draft picks and would not be surprised if Parsons gets more time than the other 2 guys because his game is NBA Ready!!!

Why does this guy remind of so much of Luke Walton?

I don`t think Bud will lose too much time. He played pretty well last year and seemed to have shot the ball pretty well towards the end of the year. If he`s hitting his shots, he`ll be playing.

As par as Parson`s is concerned, he reminds me a lot of Cliff Robinson. Not Bullard who wasn`t a good rebounder.
