Actually, Ariza set his feet and launched a good form shot...Not a bad shot at all...just not the guy I'd prefer shooting it. The bad part was when he attempted to dribble, but I feel he recovered and got off a fundamentally good shot.

it could've been 8-8 had they not taken away one of his 3's that was called a 2 pointer

If you are that hot, you cannot shoot a bad shot. Nice seeing these clips, but it was better seeing them in person last night.

AB is looking better and better each game! I know there are a lotta AB haters on this board, but personally Morey really did an amazing job that draft year. My goodness!

Yep, and most of them are not haters, they are just worried that Yao won't get as many shots.

True Rocket fans don't give two craps for who shoots the ball as long as it goes in.

This. I've been noticing this often.

"Lowry is a better player because he makes better passes to Yao". Give me a break, there are 5 guys on your team, not just one. This team isn't just about Yao & Co. There are stars that have developped and I think that IF Yao comes back healthy, he'll probably average less than 20 ppg. Sorry YOF.

I think Brooks' game complements Yao very well. Brooks can really stretch the floor. Having Brooks, Martin and Battier on the floor with Yao will frustrate any defense. Ariza should shoot 1000 threes everyday this summer, his improved shooting will really help the team (and his scoring efficiency).

Is Aaron entering the circle of the deep 3 shooters like Dan Majerle and Reggie Miller? Sure, most guys can hit it a step behind the line, but three steps? Aaron seems to be able to do that with a regularity similar to the above mentioned shooters. My jaw hit the floor when he nailed those deep ones.

I always feel good watching Brooks launch a 3, it doesn't matter where. He makes fast-break threes, catch-and-shoots, screened threes, heat checks, and of course the deep ones. The guy is plain good from distance.

Thank You! Something everyone is totally missing it seems, is that Yao will probably not mind the reduced work load and he can concentrate more on D. Yao doesn't seem the type to complain about it. I think he will take his 16 Mil, give half to the commies and enjoy the ride.

I like the fact that AB got 2 wide open looks off of drives and dishes from Kevin Martin. These guys look fantastic together!

Because of how many three-pointers he hits that are a yard or more behind the line, or contested (especially considering his height), I think Aaron Brooks might be one of the top three-point shooters in the game.

His 3P% isn't up there, but there is nobody else in the game who takes as many threes as he does and still shoots almost 40%.

I was at this game, and lol I thought that the rockets were shooting horribly until I look up the scoreboard. As for AB, I didn't even know he was perfect, watching it live is so much different from watching it on TV. Jordan Hill was great btw, he was pretty solid.
