VERY COOL: Ali to throw out first pitch at All-Star Game

It takes a great showman to make it memorable. For example, if Ali turned and threw a strike over the Center field fence we'd never forget it. Or if he took it and fired it at the mascot. The memories would live on forever. But as it is, nobody remembers the game either. But we still need for it to happen cause it's fun and it honors the players who were in it.

 

You're right, but the powers-that-be in baseball would never allow something that fun. Putting spider-crud on the bases is okay, but making fun of the 1st pitch would go against the dignity of the game or something.

If it was any other game I wouldn't remember. But it's the Houston All-Star game. It'll be memorable.
