While this is good, it still leaves you with S-ON in the bootloader. It's time for Motorola to do this if they want to be successful. Outside of the U.S, no one cares for Motorola Android phones lol.
No big deal. If you like throwing away your money on cigarettes, alcohol, Starbucks, etc...what's $2 per month?
Do a speedtest, and get back with me again on whether you still love it. Along with finding out Wi-max won't work most of the time if you're not outside lol.
I switched around, and in my area Sprint didn't do well. I was surprised how ineffective Wimax is indoors...Love Sprint for their pricing and customer service, but I just couldn't deal with the signal issue.. Verizon was the worst when it comes to pricing (prorated, bunch of small charges, expensive etc) but def the best signal, anywhere I go... TMobile does it for me, especially the $30 dollar month to month plan, 100 min is enough for me, 5GB of 4g (great speeds) plus unlimited texting.. and unlocked phone...can't beat that
It's the convenience of paying with your credit card without explicitly calling you out for using a credit card. It sucks how companies choose to enforce this.
Just wanted to add to the positive comments about T-Mobile's $30 plan. Started it earlier in the month, and haven't really had any complaints. Using Groove IP, so don't even have to worry about the 100 minutes either (basically use Wifi or data service to make calls).
Maybe if Verizon is the only company that you pay monthly to. The rest of us: utilities, internet, phones, cable, banks, etc are ALL nickle-and-diming our ***. It reminds me of when Comcast continually raises rates all in the guise of "service".
I just dropped out of my Sprint SERO line because of a ridiculous $300 overage charge on my used-to-be unlimited hotspot plan. I had good feelings for Sprint's CSRs a year ago, even helping people get better deals onto Sprint, but lately in the span of 6-7 months, they have gone ridiculously downhill in service and quality. They might hire American CSRs, but with the non-accent comes plenty of attitude. The suicide charge to Iphone has been given as the main reason for a lot of the crappy broadband speeds and lax service, but I've seen the difference even before August. It's like they went totally 180 on their commitment to customer service after those horrible strings of lawsuits and rapid customer turnover. Just researching on how to dispute my bill has uncovered no class action lawsuits, no civil court, and mandatory single arbitration clauses. Apparently the first part is legal because of the Robert$ SCOTUS ruling against class action lawsuits. Maybe THAT has been the main reason. And if so, it doesn't matter which carrier I choose. FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU Yes, there are CC transaction fees that retailers generally either swallow or bake it into the price. Verizon is doing neither and making it a separate charge They did promise unlocked bootloaders wholesale awhile back, but tucked their tails when Verizon told to include it on their carrier. Nexus had some mighty strings to pull....
If you use T-Mobile's WiFi calling service, yes. If you use Groove IP, no. Can also use Skype or something else (but you wouldn't be able to use your Google Voice number to make/receive calls).
Verizon pulls a QWIKSTER, and a go-daddy http://www.theverge.com/2011/12/30/2670975/verizon-drops-convenience-fee No more $2 fee
