I too feel that Deng is very talented. It's rare to see a player like him go undrafted. GM's look for specialists these days, and miss out on versatile
scorers. His defense may get better if he puts in a lot of hard work, but he is quite advanced on the offensive end.

If I were the GM for this Rockets draft, I would have chosen Melton at 46, Clark at 52, and Deng on a 2 way contract. Edwards seems to be slightly better than Dekker, but I don't think he is good enough to make it to the team. I don't think I can ever be good as a scout. I'm just giving my armchair opinion. Go Houston Rockets!

Gary Clark is the guy i'm gonna be watching closely. Why he wasn't drafted, i have no idea. One of the best defensive players in the country. He's got a jumper. He's got a post game. Very good rebounder. Nice wingspan. Best suited to the 4, but can also play the 3. Shot 43% from 3pt. last year. Hight BBall IQ.

This guy has a chance to make the team.

I agree! Melton is our best player drafted since Capela

Moute a Bidias and Mbah a Moute sounds so different, yet so familiar.

Deng needs Harden and Bzdelik to take him under their respective wings. Deng's offensive game is already very similar to Hardens although not nearly as advanced. And if Bzdelik can make him buy into the D scheme, this kid could really be a diamond in the rough.

I'm rooting for him, love his work ethic and backstory.

Was really hoping Bzdelik would be coaching SL for Rockets.

I'm very interested in Hartenstein's development. He's someone I think can be an upgrade at backup C for us THIS SEASON . Nene and black were pretty bleh last year . This is kid is a true 7 footer with solid athleticism and skills . He fell in the draft due to injury concerns , let's see if a full year of G-league training improved his physicality .

Is Gary Clark a Draymond Green type of a player? Here are some of his stats compared to Draymond:

Clark: 4 year college player at Cincinnati
Green: 4 year college player at Michigan State

    Clark: 6'8", 225 pounds
    Green: 6'7", 230 pounds

Clark: AAC Defensive Player of the Year | AAC Player of the Year | AAC Tournament MVP
Green: Big10 All-Defensive First Team | Big10 Player of the Year | Big10 Tournament MVP

    Senior Stats Per 100 Possessions:

    Clark: 27.4 pts, 18.5 reb, 4.5 ast, 3 stl, 2.6 blk, 43.5% 3pt%, 55.0% 2pt%, 61.2% TS%, 29.6 PER
    Green: 30.1 pts, 19.7 reb, 7.1 ast, 2.7 stl, 1.8 blk, 38.8% 3pt%, 47.3% 2pt%, 54.2% TS%, 26.1 PER

I'm not saying he's going to be as good as Draymond Green, but he seems to have a similar profile. An undersized PF who plays bigger than he is... very good defensively, aggressive on the boards and can grab rebounds, can go out to the perimeter and distribute a little bit, and can even hit the 3 to keep defenses honest.
