If Harden plays his normal minutes, there is no doubt in my mind that he is going over 42.5. If there is a blowout, then they will probably rest him.

Why does everyone seem so certain that Toronto will blow us out on our home court?

With Toronto's defenders, I am going to have to take the under on this one.

Our children will think this is normal, 50 ppg, and frankly, I'm starting to feel that way too. I recall a time when I thought an Olajuwon 30 point games was like a woo hoo moment. Now I might not even bat an eye at it. And while the media is basking in it a bit, there is some reservation about it. It's not like when Jordan and Kobe were doing it. It does feel less. I mean think about Jeremy Lin scoring 30 in New York and the entire world went into a frenzy. Harden scores 61 and it's like, ah, ok.

Under tonight, due to Kawhi and the Raptors are just really good and might blow us the **** out like Philly lol. I know he can hit the over though.

I repeat: Why does everyone seem so certain that Toronto will blow us out on our home court?

James chooses his defender. Kawhi can't control switches.

They were lucky to escape NY with a win. The Knicks! One of the 3 worst teams in the league. Guys outside of Harden and Gordon have to step up, otherwise it's going to be a beatdown.

Danny Green is an underrated defender. When he was in San Antonio, Danny would get the Harden assignment then Kawhi would swoop in and take all the glory for a couple possessions. Toronto may have a different defensive philosophy though.

If Harden scores 40+ tonight against Toronto.. crown him.. again..

More like a lot of us (including me) aren't exactly confident that our team of g-leaguers will b able to help harden win against the Raptors.

Though if we have Harden leading the way, it's possible we can eek out a win.

Under, and maybe under 30, as Kawhi will shut him down more than most.

The Rockets have struggled against lesser teams ever since the Capela injury. Lakers, Knicks, and the Nets. The Nets being the best of those three being barely around .500. The Rockets got blown out by the 76ers without Jimmy Butler.

The Raptors have a claim to being the best team in the east, and have a healthy roster aside from maybe Jonas V. Im not sure if he's back or not, but even then he only plays about 24 minutes a game.

Either way, it is obvious that the Raptors are more like the 76ers than the Nets, Knicks, and Lakers who we've struggled to beat. It's going to take more than just Harden playing well to keep the game close. As you can tell from the past couple of games us fans have little faith in our guys stepping up offensively and hitting their shots since they haven't been able to lately. Aside from Gordon obviously.

The game could very well be over by the 3rd quarter. It's reasonable to think that when you compare the Raptors to the prior 4 teams and how difficult all those games were .
