So I have had to keep this under wraps for quite some time now. I first found out my shop was going to be doing a van for the Rockets and Clutch Specifically in November(we do custom conversions). The fan i am i immediately forced myself into the lead role even though i absolutely have no authority like that. Yet, my shop is so cool i indeed did get to be lead guy and honorary foreman of the Rockets Van. I overlooked everything and made most decisions. Ironically i was going to quit for more pay and responsibility and that day i found out we were doing the van, and said... yeah screw that other job. lol.

This has literally been the coolest thing i have ever done or been a part of. I am extremely happy and proud of myself and my team and the company i work for. We have made much more luxurious vans, and much more fascinating builds but this obviously holds a huggge joy for me. Much more than the rest.

I have got to meet Clutch and he is a great dude and his assistants are awesome. They got us all a bunch of tickets back in December comped. I was going to post pictures than but couldn't because of their wishes to keep it secret and have since lost them. They are also looking to get us some more tickets on a future weekend so that the whole company could go together. I really do appreciate them and im super glad they are happy with the result.

TL;DR- I built a cool as van for Clutch, pictures below.

The outside got wrapped in vinyl graphics.

    Even put a logo

    As well as Clutch's logo.

Ghost lights under the doors that light up at night controlled by a switch.

Very nice....Is there a reason why y'all didn't add court lines? And how do the ghost lights work? That would be an awesome fan accessory to sell.

i actually pitched it to Clutch. i thought a threepoint line and free throw square would be awesome. the logo could have been halfcourt. But he didnt want it. i tried a couple times but its his van and we had to build around his dream and he ultimately always has the last say.

The ghost lights work great, we do them all the time. although, i dont know how funtional it would be as a fan item. takes a lot of work. running wire, fastening securely and finding a spot to place the switch or tie into the original system and have them come on with the door lights automatically when you open the doors like we do a lot.
