Too legit to quit? Blew out the Suns and beat LeBron tonight. Their younger guys are in the stages of their career where guys often mature and take big steps.
Unless your Philadelphia or LA Lakers, you're "legit". But seriously, too early. Too early for the Cleveland doom and gloom, too early for MVP talk, too early for "best team/title favorites!", too early for "legit" and "not legit."
Absolutely legit...2-3 record 5 games into an 82 game season...Let's just stop everything and give them the championship now.
Both those big wins came on the tail end of a back to back for the other team. Only the world's best team has won a game at Utah on the back end of a b2b this year. I'd say the Kings are looking more legit... which is weird as hell to say.
if they know what's good for them, they'd figure out how to make Exum work with Hayward. Also, I'd like our resident Aussies to know that Ingles was the inbounds man on the gamewinner
I think you meant legit as in a team that has talent and can keep moving forward, as opposed to the Lakers
said this for a while now... they have a very talented young roster. but they wont compete for the playoffs this year. in a year or two, yes, they could be a force. but their talent is too young right now. regardless, they do h ave a very good core with: exum, burke, burks, favors, kanter, and hayward... all of those pieces might not be there when they become relevant, but we'll see. they've drafted very well and their return on DWill was superb.
Despite the great play of Favors & Hayward, they are not that good in other positions. Enes Kanter is not a fit there at all. Need to move him off the roster somehow and bring in a stretch 4. Trey Burke has been average to awful to start the year, and he may not be that good to begin with. Exum is still a ways away from being effective but the talent is there. They are not legit until they bring in a point guard who can run the offense, I don't think Burke is the answer for them.
