A real consideration for that franchise is finding guys that won't give much of a shh about basing themselves in Utah. DeShawn Stevenson seems to be the only lad in years that they've taken on as a draftee or FA who didn't, on the surface, look like a fit for the exciting Utah lifestyle.

I assumed the boos came from Knicks fans lamentibg their lost pick. One thing I'm certain of, he had the nicest suit of anyone drafted.

Yeah I don't get that whatsoever. They used their lottery pick to replace a guy like Harpring??

That's what I was wondering too. One of the guys on the Nugs board I post on has a huge mancrush on Hayward, but I just don't see it. He'll be a decent rotation guy, but that's about it. I'm SERIOUSLY looking forward to him trying to guard Melo though.

LOL I knew the Jazz were going to pick the white guy, even if there were like 4 or 5 better players available.

i was actually shocked when they picked him. i'm sure it was more because of his color. I hate Utah more.

Nothing against Hayward but there are other better players out there.

You know Larry Bird was seething about not getting to draft the homegrown Wonder Bread Wunderkind.

No way. Hayward is ok but not nearly the prospect Miller was at Florida. Miller was quick, could handle the rock and could jump. Matt Harpring might have been a better comparison for Hayward
