Ya great win for Maryland. Those kids just seemed to have wanted it more and made the plays to get the job done.

Maybe this is the punch in the gut (once again) we need to jumpstart things but sure looking like the same old crap.

Every way you can look at it, this game meant a lot more for Maryland than UT.

Beck needs to go. And I'm on the verge of wanting Herman axed too. I saw no improvement from last season in any phase of the game. It's asinine how unprepared and undisciplined Texas looks. Maryland clearly cared far more about this game than Texas did.

A player died and their coach should get fired. I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of kids are looking to get out. They had no business beating UT.

Yes they think they are good enough to overcome bad plays

Is Nick Sabans contract extension still on his desk and is he still waiting to sign it?

Not sure I agree with this. UT had every reason to come out with its hair on fire to avenge last years lost. Yet this game was almost an exact carbon copy.

I thought Herman was a great great hire. I saw what he did at UH and I thought he would have great success at UT. I know it's still early in his career at UT, but I was expecting more.

Beck is going to be Herman's downfall just like Watson was Strong's downfall. They still keep hiring crap offensive coordinators from Nebraska. I don't get it considering Nebraska always have crap offenses.

Speaking of unprepared... Texas started this game off with a delay of game penalty. On the first offensive play... of the season.

I’d trade Major Applewhite for Tom Herman. Any takers?

The kids were dehydrated. Tom needs to check their water intake next game. Details make champions!

Herman was disloyal and lied about it like Sumlin. I don't want either of them back at UH. Not crazy about Applewhite either. We'll see.

Apparently, there is a new rule that the play clock starts as soon as the kickoff ends. Other teams have gotten delay of games due to this new rule change.

Honestly not expecting much this year. At least a winning season. I give coaches 3 years to really evaluate them. The first year is tough with a new system and no handpicked recruits. Second year is where improvements need to happen. Third year is when you can fairly evaluate the coach and his system.

We're basically the New York Knicks of CFB for that past 8 years. 6-6 here we come again.
