Sounds like Sumlin/Chavis are going after Brick Haley. Losing another assistant would be a punch in the gut but if A&M is willing to guarantee more years, then good for Haley. Think UT would match if just a raise though.

Texas bringing in Charlie Williams as WR coach. Interesting choice since Strong has been surrounding himself with coaches with Texas ties but Williams brings a ton of experience. Spent the last 4 years with the Colts.

Coached a lot of good college and NFL WRs throughout the years: Reggie Wayne, T.Y. Hilton, Hakeem Nicks, Troy Williamson, Keyshawn Johnson, etc...

i just looked that up. i dont understand their rankings though.

it shows the UT quarterback moving up 3 spots to number six in dual threat QB's. but there is a 2 next to his name also.

makes zero sense to me haha.

I'm not sure what those arrows imply honestly. Seems like a lot of them are off for the other dual threat QBs too.

Sam is 2nd in the 247 rankings but 6th in the composite rankings (average of all recruiting sites combined).

Hmmm, no chatter about Strong getting caught up in this divorce lawsuit?

    Tracy Blue and Carlie Strong.

Probably nothing to it. People exchange text messages all the time.

People don't get asked to testify in a divorce proceeding about their interactions with someone's ex wife all the time. Especially not to provide records of their messages, travel logs, credit card statements, gifts received, etc.

If Strong was having an affair with a boosters wife then it throws everything he's been preaching out the window.

A lot of weird stuff going on. The pic of the court order floating around isn't signed by the judge and uses "Charlie" Strong instead of his full legal name. Strong also denied he received a court order as of yesterday evening. This won't end well if Charlie was messing around though.

It would take the work hypocrisy to an entirely new level.

The request for a subpoena said Blue needs Strong's testimony to show Blue's wife, Tracy, was "inconsistent with being a role model and responsible caretaker” for their two teenage daughters.

Hopefully that's all there is to it.

Maybe I'm reading too much into this, but don't you think there was some direct involvement? This subpoena would be indefensible if there wasn't something more than just character witness - Strong could make a number of arguments to throw it out.

Take a look at the SI link I posted above. Goes through the different arguments Strong could make to quash it if ultimately served. We will find out Friday if it gets that far.

I think he's trying to say Strong knows this cuz Strong was nailing their mom while she was married. Real classy & real smart! Sucks!
