Ugh at today’s result. having real doubts about this team’s chances at the tournament As predicted, hard to overcome a lack of talent
He'll always give 100% and out-athlete his matchup. A good system makes him a perimeter wrecking ball consistently flowing to the ball and attempting to get him locked in to as many 1v1 ISO's, as the primary defender, as possible. Small edge adds up over time and that kids athleticism on D is legit edge. Granted, I've seen him play like 5 games perhaps 80 possessions, small sample size.
This is as good as I’ve seen UT play all year. Playing significantly well on both ends and theyre on the road.
Indeed. This is why they've been so frustrating all season....it's right there, but they seldom put it all together. @MadMax needs to wing some tortillas around his kitchen I fully expect TT to come out and wreck some **** in the 2H
Max, your boy needs to get the Lubbockers under control. Throwing tortillas would have been preferable to whiskey and water bottles.
I didn’t see it, but my son told me McCasland had to address the crowd to tell them to stop throwing stuff.
He did, got on the mic and said "every time yall do that we get a tech" Of course they were losing by 20 at that point so...
Reminds me of the time when I was first coaching my oldest son’s soccer team in a church league. A man old enough to be my dad was the dad of one of the kids on our team. He lobbed an F bomb at a referee one morning, and I had to go up to him at the next practice when he came to pick up his kid to say, “hey, man, you’re old enough to be my father so this is awkward as hell…but you can’t do that.” I know Grant well enough to know that I’m sure he handled it pretty well…but I imagine he hated having to do that. Not what you think of when you sign on to coach hoops.
Freshman me gets hit in the back/ribs/ass for the 3rd or 4th time in 1 game....I fling the bat towards our 3B dugout because I am not happy. Kid did not throw slop, it was FB wherever the hell it went...which seemed to be right at me. Coach comes trotting across the field over to 1B: "Never do that again or you will run for the rest of your life" I said "that stuff hurt!" He said "I don't care" (he was the football DB coach too) "Yes Sir"
This belongs in here. Shedrick was playing just fine Dysu has no business being in the game. UT has been beating them all game long and in a little run coach hunter puts him in a panic. Hes been sitting basically all game. Stupid coaching decision who was sick and now he’s injured
Fans like that are the worst. Really cool getting arrested at a sporting event and acting like a complete imbecile. What's funny is he probably had to call his parents to bail him out of jail.
