LOL I will agree that I throw up a little in my mouth whenever I see anything related to Trojan pride on campus No wonder I thought USC was douchier than Texas, now I have scientific proof!
Really it depends on what kind of douche. UT turned into the lets watch Vikki Christina Barcelona kind of douche. In Texas I would vote Texas State douchiest in a heartbeat followed by SMU, before I got to UT. Texas State has more barbed wire, affliction tees, and blowout cuts than anywhere in the state. SMU has all the fancy cars, frat attire, rich daddies, etc... its all about what flavor of douche you like.
I was surprised to see my school, University of Chicago, on a douche list. So, I looked and was completely befuddled as to what they may think a douche is. Checking the other schools didn't clarify anything. What's more, their characterizations of schools' cultures weren't accurate, nor even funny. Just a terrible article and list all the way around.
I live in Chicago now, and love the vibe in and around Hyde Park. Much more so than Evanston/Northwestern.
UT definitely has a good douchebag population. That part I'm not denying. But really, the best reason they could come up with was related to our school colors? LOL.
Big Vic why would this thread bring out "em Aggies"? An Aggie didn't write this and A&M wasn't involved so it doesn't pertain to us. By my term "us", yes I did go to A&M, but having ut on here is not the reason I spoke up on this thread. #16 says usc and I'm assuming that's univ. of southern california. A girl I knew attended and graduated from usc and enjoyed herself, but the thing she hated the most was that all the guys were assholes. She said that they all were rich, drove nice cars, and would say and do anything to get girls in bed; and it happened to her a couple of times before she learned her lesson. I think to sum this up, any school with a large greek population is going to be considered doucheish. You have a bunch of people who only associate with their kind and most of them have money and drive excessive vehicles and live in a fantasy world. Now, I know some of y'all are going to jump on me saying that you were in a frat./soror. and not all of y'all are like that. I agree, some of my best friends pledged and they still maintained their humanity. But, take a step back and look at the big picture. You were in a greek organization and you probably witnessed some very doucheish things by your brothers/sisters and by other greek organizations. Is it so shocking that you will be stereotyped with them?
