pretty terrible game by team USA for their standards. anthony and kyrie played well, but outside of that...not too great.

How come Harden still has not figured out when to shoot and when to pass? Besides his defense, that's what still makes this guy so frustrating to watch. Once he figures that out, he might come near T-mac's level.

The only thing McGrady is better than Harden at is chucking the ball. McGrady took 8 more shots a game to get 7 more points than Harden. This is McGrady's best year. The following year, McGrady took 7 more shots than Harden and to get a whole 2.5 points more than Harden.
You're just going to IGNORE your own post which says Harden's PER was 23.5 against T-Mac's 30.1? T-Mac posted one of the all-time great PERs that year. That PER was higher than Durant and LeBron this past season. If you're going to post stats, at least analyze them correctly.
Ain't anywhere close is an exaggeration. I don't think Harden will ever have the usage rate or the shot attempts to ever match a per game statistical season like McGradys best, but even if Harden plays at this level for the next 5-7 years I think looking at the entire career Harden would be considered better. Offensively Harden already takes a few of the big advanced stats. Extremely more efficient and just a better overall shooter. McGrady is the superior passer and turned the ball over less. Right now Hardens last 2 seasons in total win shares and win shares/48 are better than all but 1 of McGradys seasons. Defensively is where TMac has his separation. He had a built in advantage with just how much bigger he is plus up until he quit on us he actually gave the effort.
