Give me a break!! Thugs?? You must be watching reruns of the Sidney games. These guys have been all class. The only embarassment is people like you that bash them for doing what eventually would have happened, especially when we don't send our best guys.

As for the game, unfortunately they became too relaxed...too passive on both ends of the floor.

    I know...isn't life crazy!!:)

Hey, I am already fixing to get 3 Bob Dylan CDs later this month in "Freewheelin' Bob Dylan", "Blonde on Blonde", and "Blood on the Tracks". Maybe, by the time the season starts, I will become like a spitting image of you.:p

I missed the game, but who was the one clutching the ball with tears streaming down his eyes this time?

It's not an excuse. Its the f***ing truth. If we had our best players out there it would've been a blowout and no one would give a s*it about this game.

What is the point of this post? Who said otherwise? Hell yeah we'd be talking, and fans of other teams wouldn't want to hear it. Just like we wouldn't want to hear it from you guys.

Hell, you may as well have said "You guys woud be happy if you won the championship."
    Damn, thank-you Mr. Obvious.

What makes it worse is that this loss came on U.S soil. This is a wakeup call to the US team. Watch them come back with a vengence and take this tournament.

    YESSSSSS i'm lovin it.

come on people the usa didn't send in there best team not a team of scrubs,
i think Brand, Davis, Wallace, O'neal are good inside players, who do you want then? the only better center is shaq. so these are the best after him (and duncan is better if you think he is a center)

i'm gettin tired of this. the main reason the usa didn't send in the best team is because they know they could lose and now they have a EXCUSE.

this usa team isn't that bad. Why can't anyone just see that the international players are getting better and the usa is better now but not by as much as they have been. The almost lost last year, and theĆ½ lost this year.
    :D
i knew this would gonna happen.

i'm also gettin tired of this excuse.

The truth is the truth; whether it tires you or not is a trivial matter.

    Ben Wallace:

"It's very disappointing. I'm pretty sure it's something all of us will remember for the rest of our careers. A game like that makes you want to turn your sneakers in."

    More quotes here.

I have to say, the members of the US team are taking the loss with more class than some members here in this thread. None of the members of the team blamed the officiating. Everyone acknowledged that the Argentinians outplayed them.

you mean the officiating? come on after every loss the fans complain about the officiating.

if the usa team was so much better as some still try to believe the game woudn't be close, and officiating woudn't even have mattered.

i'm surprised the players show so much class,
luckely iverson isn't there:D he would show class as he always does:rolleyes:

It's almost like the Dutch soccer team after yet another defeat to Germany :D.

    :D :D :D
almost. The dutch soccer team is unbelieveble arrogant, for a team that didn't even make it to the world championship.
don't get me started about the dutch soccer team:(

Actually, the Dutch team should have been there...for me, they are still one of the 5 teams in the world that play the best and most attractive football. Van Basten, Gullit and Rijkard (except for that spitting incident) are some of the all-time greats I have seen play.

they should, but they didn't play hard enough, just like the usa team did against argentina. Holland has so much talent, just watch Van der Vaart (from Ajax). they will be ready next time.
