Lebron is the Man, no doubt. Moving into a smaller role would be hard for him. He is unselfish, and is a tremendous all round player.
Our defense would get even better, and we would be a constant threat at all times. If he is willing to play more as a 4, and less as a ball handler, it could work. I hope Houston could retain Tucker and Capela for depth, but if Clint plays poorly in the playoffs, I wouldn't mind if Morey, lets him go.

Not saying no. I'm just saying that it will actually take some time for that team to figure things out. We'd lose role players and Harden, CP, Lebron would have to replace their production and help. Not comparing these superstars to role players, but superstars don't become suited to playing simpler roles in a short period of time.

Again, this also means players have to get out of their comfort zones. Lebron especially will need to make big adjustments to his game, playing more off-ball, posting up, setting screens, and spotting up for 3s.

You would have to say goodbye to Ariza, Gordon, and Anderson to make it work. We would have no bench at all.

Maybe it's me, but I don't want a Lebron on this team.

Has anyone see what chris paul has done for us.....a few months ago some of us thought bev, dekker, lou, and harrell was too much for him.

Lose Ariza+gordon+Ryno to sign lebron?? Where do i sign....

If you want to win in this league you have to keep aqcquiring stars, if theres a chance to get THE star you do it no matter what you are gonna lose.
Lebron, CP3, and harden all have toop 5 basketball IQs in the NBA, they will make it work for sure.

IF he wants to come here, I think it is a lock a deal gets done with EGo and us sending Ryno to a 3rd team. Cle resigns Thomas and saves on luxury tax payments. Ryno playing the way he is with only two years left on the deal a lot easier to move with two years healthy.

I say this exact same thing and people argue with me about Ryan’s contract.

@BimaThug says it and it’s gospel.

    What’s a rockstar he is.

Would Murph be ok with LeBron wearing his jersey number? He'd probably wind up wearing #6 anyway. Hell, if you've got a T-Jones jersey, just swap out a couple of letters and you don't even have to buy a new one.

If I was cp3 id try to get paid. I doubt he will take a paycut when we are a championship contender without lebron and cp3 aready took a short term paycut to come here anyway.

Rockets take care of in house stars. If lebron wants to come that bad than he will take a big paycut. If not no big deal, this is hardens team, cp3 is a great robin, and we have a chance to win a title over the next 3 years anyway.

LeBron is on a 2 year deal, so would we even have his bird rights if he went with the opt-in and trade?

    Edit: it's a 3 year deal, nevermind.
