USA Select Team has been announced, and unsurprisingly, there's no Rockets on it.

The Select Team includes: D'Angelo Russell and Julius Randle (Lakers), Jahlil Okafor and Jerami Grant (Philadelphia), Stanley Johnson and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope (Detroit), Devin Booker (Phoenix); Jabari Parker (Milwaukee); Justise Winslow (Miami), Aaron Gordon (Orlando), Marcus Smart (Boston), Zach LaVine (Minnesota), CJ McCollum (Portland), Cody Zeller (Charlotte), Myles Turner (Indiana), Doug McDermott (Chicago), Emmanuel Mudiay and Gary Harris (Denver), Willie Cauley-Stein (Sacramento) and Rodney Hood (Utah). http://www.espn.com.au/olympics/basketball/story/_/id/16023886/san-antonio-spurs-gregg-popovich-lead-select-team-training-vs-us-olympic-squad

These guys aren't huge names but every single one of them would step into the Rockets rotation immediately and likely have a big impact. Morey really needs to ship out some of the deadwood on the roster and bring in some of these young bloods.

Look at the teams these guys are from. No Cavs, Spurs, Warriors etc.

If your teams have been sucking then you don't get to pick high up talent like these. The reason Houston don't have players like these is simply Houston has been to the playoffs these past couple of years unlike alot of the teams on here.

Now all this does is give Harden an excuse to withdraw from the Olympics so he can continue going to strip clubs all summer rather than get pushed in practice.

Doubt Harden pulls out, he played too well following his last stint on Team USA

At this rate, who is even going? Are we getting down to Pat Beverley and Corey Brewer representing the U.S.A.?

    Lillard - Conley - Irving
    Thompson - Butler - DeRozan - Beal
    Durant - Leonard - George - Hayward - Iguodala - Gay - Barnes
    James - Anthony - Green - Love - Faried
    Cousins - Drummond - Jordan - Howard

Cousins has been told he'll make the team.

Harden will play. He seems to enjoy playing ball in the summer despite not being the best shape

He always plays drew leagues when there isn't national team

Does anyone think there will be repercussions for Team USA from all the animosity caused by the Warriors in the playoffs?

It seems to me like a lot of Team USA's leaders can't stand the Warriors. Of those that are still going to the Olympics, KD and LeBron are the obvious leaders of the team, but how will they cope with having to pass the ball to Draymond or Thompson?

Team USA has had great chemistry in the past, but because of the way that GSW goes about it, with all their filthy play, will Team USA even like each other at this year's Olympics?

Not a problem. KD and LerBon won't need to pass and just go hero ball as much as possible.
