Stupid Klinsmann,. Because of his pesonal vendetta against Landon Donovan, we do not have a capable replacement for Altidore as the lone attacker up front now.

Well we control our own destiny tomorrow - get the win, and move on to the next round....Get the win, and play the entire bench against Germany, get some time for Green, and Diskerud etc.

    And our backup keeper too.

Only one issue, get the win.

Lol, play the bench and potentially give away the number one seed? Yah, I don't think so.

The number 2 seed out of this group has the advantage because they will most likely be playing Belgium.

Since aus can't make it through to the knockout stage (however we did go through in 2006) I'm barracking for USA now.

f Ronaldo, Ghana is fun to watch but would much rather you guys go through and do something

I agree with you. Belgium tore us a new one last year. I'd much rather face Russia or South Korea.

The thing about the WC is that you never know what to expect, the USA could get crushed, or crush, or draw, you just don't know, very exciting.

If you bench players and the backups don't do well and lose badly to Germany, don't complain later how the USA gets ranked lower or doesn't get the respect it deserves when they would have played better. I'm guaranteeing that Cameroon, Spain, England and Australia will not rest their players and play for a win even though they're out.

About time you made some sense.

    Expect the UNexpected.

I'm concerned, in a way, about how we played on Tues. Bunkering down after :30 was not a good plan. We cannot allow Portugal to come at us over and over and not expect them not to convert. This is why I think we have to start Wondo. We need someone up there that is efficient in converting chances. And, Zusi to put those chances in the box.

No matter what, Bradley has got to be better. He has to be the outlet for the defense and the one that moves the offense. We can't be forced to clear every ball and allow them to keep coming at us. Bradley is the key to that.

Isn't Portugal and Germany in control of their own destiny, too. If they both win out, US will not advance

The only team who isn't in control of their own destiny is Ghana, but don't tell ChrisBosh that.
