I am in for two. Please get info if there is a discount. If the Rockets pull a Phoniex lay down, can we all chant REFUND, REFUND at the top of our lungs.

Seriously, this is a great idea, and it shows some creative and intelligent thinking to address a very serious problem for the Rocket organization. The pre game and opening minutes of every Roclets game on TV is dominated by the empty seats surrounding the court. The empty seats staring down suck the energy out of each broadcast. They tell the world the fans don't care, and the team has no heart. Then the game starts, and so far this year the upper deck fans care, and the team had no heart. This will be a nice start.

I would be in as long as the discount is significant, not something lame like $5 off the normal price. Like someone else said, $25 to $30 would be more like it. If the ticket prices were as reasonable as Astro tickets, I'd buy season tickets like I have with the Astros. I like basketball more than baseball but I've been priced out by the Rockets. I'm sure I'm not the only one.

I can be pretty loud at Rocket games, especailly after 1 or 12 pops. They should throw in a few drink coupons to help us all....loosen up. ;)

Oh yeah, and Powerdancers. They must be stationed right in front of us for the entire game!

I get the feeling this might not work unless the Tickets are like Half Price. People that didn't pay 50 dollars for a ticket before are still not going to pay 50 for a ticket. Myself, I have a cheap seat mini plan up in 415. If they want to do half price tix, they could get a large group in there, feeling good about not having to pay full price (and so good that they'll want to spend the 25 dollars they saved on Booze!) and start cheering their asses off. I have a feeling they're not going to let some of you back after the "FI-RE-GUN-DY" and "RE-FUND! RE-FUND" chants :p.

    If successful, awesome. :D

Rockets should embrace the BBS, hell, give us a small section somewhere. Clutchfans represent!

I'd rather they fill the section with a lot of sweet looking babes and call them the "Houston Hotties".

If we go playoffs I'm gonna be in Houston(I live in Cali) so I'm definitely down, I wish I could live in Houston instead haha. Man did anybody see the All-star Dunk Contest, we didn't represent our crowd at all hahah.

If they could drop the price of those tickets by about 50% and include the group discount, then I would most likely be in.

I'd love to be there to make that arena fun again. I was there a few months ago and it was like being at a highschool game. It sucked. It was so quiet, the only noise was the PA. IT was almost boring. I love watching the ROckets, I always do just check the chat room but man. They seriously need to do somwthing like this in the lower bowl.

Isn't there something like this in Sacramento? I believe they allow regular fans into the lower bowl to make it loud and rowdy?

I"m a college student with not much income headed my way, so these would have to be quite discounted. BUt if I was there, I'd have the face paint, all red, and be screaming my head off.

Precisely why this "plan" sounds half-baked, to me. One whole end of the court, eh? Nice. That means the Crew/Pack/Boosters/whatever get to attempt to influence the opposing team's free throws for exactly one half of the game.

The courts that have an actual home court advantage are the ones that are pure noise, floor to ceiling. One brace of seats behind one basket isn't going to do short-for-Richard.

Eh, I could be wrong. Gotta start somewhere, I s'pose. I just don't think this one-off experiment is going to produce the kind of results the powers that be are looking for.
