Watson is the ONLY reason he's still employed, he's gotta make it look like it was his idea.

    If you say so.

That Watson is a pro bowl liar.

Stay away from sharp objects/rooftops when thinking about BOB.

With the last years OL, all Texans fans should've rooted for Savage to start every game last year.

    Take the beating.

You were wrong if you thought Rick Smith would ever stop being the whipping boy for a certain type of Texans fan

Who brought Breno in and why was he the best option available?

    # Lamm. LOL

Luckily we dont have to worry about this type of incompetence anymore.

I think the OL will be better next season.

    Not good, but better.

The coaches (Mike Devlin). He coached Giacomini with the Jets and they bonded. O'Brien said the line looked great last year's training camp.
Chris Clark should have been playing LT where he's decent and not RT where he is horrible. Mancz should have been playing center and Martin should have been playing right guard.
Kendall Lamm was an UDFA. If O'Brien didn't think he was good enough, he shouldn't have made the team.

    Watson did save BOB's job.

I do think BOB showed last year though that he can create a great offense with a good QB.

    so in my opinion

    They both saved Bob's job.

PatDStat, John Harris and others were mocking people who said the line was bad last year. PatDStat I believe was on in the trenches and basically said that people saying the line would be bad weren't watching practice and that "no one in the building" is worried about the OLine. LOL what a joke.

They need to put it all together. A great offense but just a 3-3 record (3-4 if you count game 1). Yes. The defense regressed. Yes. They had injuries. But there were also the questionable decisions at the end of two of those losses. Hopefully all that talent on both sides turns into postseason wins this year.

Agreed. If those end of game errors happen this year then BoB has no excuse.

I think last year in the Patriot/Seattle games he trusted his defense too much.

This year he will let the kid dictate games as he should.

I disagree, BOB was still making the same mistakes, he just got bailed out more often by Watson making something out of nothing. I just can't defend a coach who STILL thinks that Lamar Miller is a between the tackles power back. His incompetence when it comes to running an offense was on display all season long. The only difference between how the season started and how it ended was Watson being able to bail him out a bit in the beginning.

I think Lamar stays on for at least one more season given foreman’s recovery and devastating injury. He was actually pretty good with Watson

My complaint is only about BOB using Lamar Miller incorrectly so often, not with Lamar Miller as a RB. Lamar Miller can do a lot of things as a RB, but he'll never be a between the tackles power back....which wouldn't be a problem at all if the Texans had a halfway competent offensive coordinator that would recognize that fact.

This might have an effect on Clowney's contract. This is huge overall (not so much guaranteed) money for Hunter:
