Who knows, maybe Grossman was hurt or something...or felt something when he threw. I don't think you can jump to too much judgement on either of them after one preseason game in the rain. Neither has been a part of an offense anywhere near as complicated as this one.
I agree...but the velocity with Orlovsky wasnt too impressive. I was giving the majority of the blame to the rain, but then Thigpen threw the ball harder. Lets see how things go next week. I want improvement.
Okam looked like a starter! Brown was great, nothing you can do about a hat on the ball Casey is the real deal Barwin looks like he could be a monster Duane Brown is 100 times better than he was this time last year Our front 7 is deep, our LB's are super deep negatives, Dan O (it was bad weather) looked pretty bad Not impressed with our OT's after the starters and Butler Think it's a blessing that the young CB's are getting lots of time And after a run of bad luck with injuries I'm happy to come out of this clean Oh and Jacoby vs Jenkins is something to watch imo
AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I just moved to Arizona after living in Houston nearly my entire life. I knew i would go thrugh Houston Sports withdrawl. I'm so happy to get to see the few games that i will get to see cause I can't afford NFL Sunday Ticket right now. I thought there would be a lot of Cardinals fans out here, but It's mostly Raider, Bronco, and oh yes.............COWBOYS FANS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! . Sickening!
Didn't see the game. 1. How many sacks did Barwin have? 2. Was he playing the left side? 3. Was he in with Mario Williams in the blitz package on 3rd and long?
I saw some of the game but what was so bad about Dan? I'm no football expert but he doesn't look so bad in the box score.
The velocity on his passes looked terrible...although a lot of it can be blamed on rain, I didnt see the Chiefs 3rd string QB having problems with the same thing. Also, he threw 2 terrible passes that could have been picked off for touchdowns, but they were dropped by KC. So yeah, his box score looks okay, but watching him gave me a very uncomfortable feeling...when he would drop back, I just always felt like the worst was about to happen, which is very frustrating and aggravating.
http://www.chron.com/disp/story.mpl/sports/fb/texansfront/6574332.html Fortunately nobody went down that we can't live without (except maybe Winston, but his doesn't sound serious), but that is a long list of guys for one preseason game. Hopefully Deljuan Robinson is alright too...I was hoping for good things from him this year. Not the kind of weather we need to be playing in for the first game.
From Eric Winston's twitter page: "FYI, my ankle is fine. I'm surprised it was even mentioned. Just stepped funny towards the end of the last drive. Thanks for the well wishes about an hour ago."
