I think we need to face the inevitable that Kevin will not be walking through that door. With that being said I woner how many UH assistant coaches he will take with him. Is Jason Phillips a serious candidate? Could Kingsburry make the jump to HC?

Kingsbury is pretty young but sure has had the opportunity to learn from some of the best in Sumlin, Holgrensom, Leach, Bellichick...

I"d avoid him though if has any success he probaly will be out the door pretty quickly quite possibly to Texas Tech with the way Tubberville is going...

I'm not sold on Kevin leaving just yet until somebody more credible than Barry Warner tells me so.

There can be no doubt Sumlin massively lost credibility yesterday. 12-1 is still 12-1 and nobody can take that away. But going down in flames in the spotlight casts a pall on the season.

No, because Barry Warner makes you look sane and/or coherent.

Anyone who votes Major Applewhite over Jason Phillips or Tony Levine, should go buy a burnt orange t-shirt and root for the Longhorns. UH doesn't need your support.

Klingsbury is nowhere near ready to a head coach IMO. If I'm Applewhite I'm going to Florida. Who y'all looking at? The current interim guy seems clueless and way in over his head in interviews.

Hell to the yes! Wake up the echoes!

A return to the glory that was the Dana Dimel era! Sign me up!

Sumlin came close to perfection....Dimel achieved it.

Last season, New Mexico won only 1 game. It was against Wyoming.

Honestly, I don't think there's a current head coach that would jump ship to UH that I'd be impressed with. I'd much rather them take the same route they did with Sumlin and try to hire a notable coordinator from a high profile program.

I don't know, I guess Christensen kind of fit that bill as OC at Mizzou, but simply posting a couple of winning seasons sandwiching a last place MWC finish at Wyoming doesn't impress me.

Anybody know if Christensen banged a coed on a pool table?

FWIW, Dimel had more success in his 3 years at Wyoming than Christensen has. 22-13, 14-9 in conference vs 18-19, 10-13 in conference.

As far as I know, Rhoades has never hired a football coach. He came here after Sumlin was hired and Akron had the same coach all the time he was there. I'm kind of worried.

I doubt it's Christensen. I wonder who leaked his name for ****s and giggles.
