I never understood why teams do not incorporate their logos in their jerseys. I know there's a lot of hate, but to me the logo is cool (especially in 3D on ESPN with the added fire and you can truly see a Rocket).
That's pretty much what i was referring to in this post: http://bbs.clutchfans.net/showpost.php?p=9961609&postcount=21 Make the lines come in at a different angle.
looks like they had to make a new cut because Dwight shoulders so big and he hates the wide shoulder on the old cut.
I like the jerseys but can someone explain "trill" in front of STON for me? I'm just curious, maybe its an age thing. The other thing is that I think the color pattern should have been more like that of the Hawks who have the large mustard panels on the side of their red jerseys. Atlanta should have blue panels on the side. Mustard and Red belong to Houston.
Yeah... it wouldn't be age for me and I have absolutely no idea what "trill" is all about. Guessing a hip-hop reference. I will now prepare myself for ridicule.
Trill is a slang term apparently first coined by Houston rapper Bernard Freeman AKA Bun B; a portmanteau of true and real (e.g. to be true and real to one's self). It's use elsewhere is pretty commonly associated with its origin in Houston. A nice homage in these photos, but I don't think it belongs on an NBA uniform.
Trill is a word made popular by Bun B, a rapper from port Arthur who represents Houston. It is derived from combining the words true and real. It can also be used as a superlative for something that is awesome. It's pretty much a Houston word that has gained popularity all over. Having an alternate jersey with Trill on it would be... mmmm trill?
Like those jerseys a lot. Would prefer a classic cut though. And of course no trill that's just stupid.
