    clutch's article said:

"Secondly, the Rockets have slightly altered the font used throughout the jersey, on the word “Rockets”, the player’s name and the numbers. I’m told you can see the change but it’s “subtle.”

Guess that's not true at all...

I'd be really excited about all the news jerseys...

But they're all very underwhelming. Almost mind-blowingly underwhelming.

We had an opportunity to get a ton of new uniforms out there and we dropped the ball on all of them.

"Clutch City" is a win - but they jersey doesn't look very good. It's simple in a bad way, not a good way. The grey one is ugly and there's already a grey team in Texas.

I do not like grey constantly being forced down my throat as an accent color to our primary and secondary colors. It just doesn't work in fashion. It makes sense in the corporate world but not in fashion.

And the Chinese jersey... last year's was pretty sweet, just keep that one.

Maybe Rockets is slightly different... but The 4 and the 6 are definitely the same.. looks up pics of T-Jones or Greg Smith. I'll reserve final judgement till we see them in person.

Gotta get rid of the communist look, no need to pander to China anymore. A whole new look is long overdue.

The Texans will again take all my Houston team gear money this year. I haven't bought any Rockets gear in a long time. Hopefully when Nike takes over there will be a new uniform/logo that looks great. I would love to get some dri-fit Rockets gear but not of the current logo.

    Clutch City= Houston geographically now...

"So where are you moving to for your new job?"
"Oh, we're moving to Clutch City, TX."
"Oh, cool!...I heard the job market is good there...and they have NASA."
"Yep...and the basketball around there is good too."

exactly the word I was looking 4

Pandering. Yes. When these people design these jerseys and logos they try to associate images. China has a lot of people, whom I'm sure the Rockets want in a Jersey. Not rocket science. And what KFC got to do with it? That was cute, but comes off a bit edgy. The Rice box is part of that culture. Blacks and KFC is just a stereotype of black people. I would like to see them go back to something close to classic. Or make a Home version of the Alt Away jersey

If we had Lebron, he would have gotten our jersey's changed so fast. We'd also have like 10 alternates.

Most folks who were fans during Clutch City are over 30 now and wouldn't buy a sleeveless jersey. The marketing folks may believe they would buy one with sleeves but even that is unlikely.

I don't get the reasoning that fans will buy a sleeved jersey either...

Sleeved jerseys fit snug around the arms and they only cover the shoulder. No fan is going to wear a jersey that fits like this:

Secondly... it doesn't matter that jerseys are normally sleeveless... many fans wear a t-shirt underneath anyway:

^^ Those folks are not going to wear a snug-fitting sleeved jersey. And they wouldn't even be able to wear a longer shirt underneath like they can with traditional jerseys.

The sleeves look like that on Harden because he's athletic with good arms. Your average fan won't have a fit like that, and the jersey pretty much wears like a soft t-shirt.

sarcasm? I think those might be the ugliest things on that page... our design team is dreadful. The players can't like these...
