If we were fans of OTHER teams, we might be saying "How about Francisco GARCIA?!"

I'm maybe a bit higher on James Anderson than most. But he's on a cheap contract and he probably shoulda had more chance THIS past season to crack in the rotation Patrick Beverley style. He's very bland on his dribbles, but can hit the 3 when left open and rebounds and defends decent.

It seems the "in-house" maybe not the BEST options but more chance at CHEAPEST bargains.
(If Garcia would come back at vet min. But before Garcia's late season play he had a possible chance of being out the league or midseason vet fill-in).

/\/\/\/\/\/THIS is a Great option and for that price a steal

He plays defense and can shoot the 3 ball.......oh, and he is a bit more athletic than Delfino/Garcia.

I'm a Glen Rice fan. He knows the system and we know him and have seen first hand what he can do. He would be my pick in the second round if he's available and someone like Reggie Bullock or Steven Adams doesn't drop.

Free agents that would accept the minimum: Matt Barnes, Morrow, maybe pietrus as someone else suggested.

Sergio Garcia with the room exception if he'll take it. He might if no one watched the playoffs and doesn't offer him a lot more.

All the other ones listed pretty much would need more. Can only sign if D12 and some other free agent plans don't happen. I like Kyle Korver. He plays team D and can shoot like Steph Curry.

I agree with Bima. Morey will wait for what's left of the heap and go predatory. Oh wait they're using the word oportunistic now.

That surely will be Morey's strategy. That's why we are always left with the dregs of free agency.

Again, these hardly can be considered players who are "under the radar" or who will be inexpensive.

Golden State Pietrus would be great, but Pietrus is not THAT guy anymore. He's sucked for 3 straight seasons now. And is injury prone on top that. (Not to mention he doesnt pass the ball at all.)

And can always overpay for Trevor Ariza again

How so? Please help me understand how your statement is not a non sequitur?

Don't think this is true. Morey made mdeium to max money free agent plays early in the offseason for the likes of Asik, Lin, Marc Gasol, Nene and Chris Bosh. He has not always waited for the market to settle down so he can pick off the "Delfinos."

First of all every player is under the radar. And second you didn't say anything about the cost in your original statement.

I like Mike Dunleavy. He's better than Garcia, and he's cheaper.

I'm liking the idea for Morrow...can we afford him? Would he get minutes on this team?

Thumbs what about Tracy Mcgrady. He still loves Houston, and he is dirt cheap.

    In China he played 29 games, 33 minutes : 49% FG, 2-pointers 56%, 3-pointers 33% free-throws 72% , 7 rebounds, 5 assists, and 25 points a game..

    LOL

DM the GM will strike at the stroke of midnite. When all striking is in, or out, then he can and will cherry pick. For the right fit.

Returning in November with Cisco and/or Delfino and/or Anderson is AOK with me. Returning in November with a positive outcome at the 4 is aces with me.

    Please re-read the opening post:

With only a second-rounder to pick up a decent back-up shooting guard or back-up small forward, I have been looking over other teams for players we could sign to relatively inexpensive contracts.
