Consistency builds trust, and neither party expects people to value that or the truth behind their intentions.

The pivot towards "that money is better spent here" into "think of the debt ~100B will add" is noted.

These ****ers just want to spend more when they're in the drivers seat.

They broke the high score for debt!
When are we gonna beat it??

It’s a shame this took so long to get through because a handful of loud mouth morons. Ukraine has lost a lot of land, which only emboldens Russia to keep pressing forward for more. I doubt Ukraine will ever get it back.

hopefully the fresh arms will be enough to hold them off until winter from making further advancements.

Once again, Putin could end it by just leaving the Ukraine....he started it......he is the WAR MONGER.

Those who support the Ukraine aren't thrilled with war, but we are thrilled with supporting our friends and not acting like a ****ing coward.

Dementia Don forgets which side he is on ... perhaps momentarily ...

On April 18, he posted on Truth Social claiming that he, too, favored helping Ukraine. “As everyone agrees, Ukrainian Survival and Strength should be much more important to Europe than to us, but it is also important to us!”

I mean he’s not wrong about the indirect effect this has. If wars are allowed to break out all over the world where any autocrat can attack a sovereign country at will because they want to, then the United States will either get pulled into wars, and there will definitely be a refugee crisis.

This isn’t even a theory. We only have to look at the Syrian war to see the mess that Putin made that created chaos in the west with that refugee crisis and human suffering.

Of course folks like you obviously support the creation of a refugee crisis because it can be weaponized politically to get neo Nazi type of candidates nearly elected (Marine Le Pen) or elected in Donald Trump.

So I understand why someone like you who supports the spread of authoritarianism here in the US would try and mock this type of statement but it’s absolutely true. Autocrats invade sovereign countries = refugee crisis + America pulled into wars.

Amazing how some in the Republican party are appeasers to a murderous, fascist, militaristic aggressor, and adversary of the United States.

Actually, it's not amazing, just sad. How far the GOP has fallen.

It is mostly old equipment we are sending - and it will be cheaper to help now, rather than a full blown war later.

THE GOP is not about helping infrastructure, they are about giving tax cuts to the rich....which helps no one.

    Bunch of morons as voters.

Nothing is certain at this point - and I am not entirely sure why some are taking this position unless it is purely political.

There are certainly issues for both sides.

Concerning an eventual negotiated peace - Putin will likely be very cautious, because he knows he will never be able to claim more of the Ukraine because they would be armed to the teeth with defense systems from the West. Also - the only way for long term financial success if from taking fertile areas like Ukraine.
