Last year, I believe that UH beat Rice 48-14??? If so, I do not see why this year would be any different. Go Coogs!
Hey, where are all you UH loudmouths now?? Rice just tore your sorry offense a new one with relentless pressure all night from the Rice D. I thought you guys were gonna have a "blowout win". Where was that?? I thought this was supposed to be "easy money" from the Vegas bookies!! Where's that money now? I'm enjoying a hearty belly laugh about Rice embarrassing you guys in front of the Reliant Stadium audience. Absolutely laughing my azz off right now! Coogfans: NOW GIVE ME MY PIZZA AND GET OFF MY PORCH!!!
Well, that's not entirely true. Rice let 'em have a sympathy 7 points when the game was out of reach. Poooor Coogs... Must be tough being Rice's b!tch in all sports.
holy ****, saw the clips on sports sunday. what the hell was that? Opening kickoff, one of the cougars basically tackled his guy. He bumped him from behind and caused him to fumble the ball.
Hey hats off to Rice. That's whats makes it a great cross town rivelary. What fun would it be it one team dominated every meeting. Like UT & A&M that hasn't been rivelary in sometime. I can't remember the last time A&M beat UT or the last time UT beat OU. The Bayou Bucket game is back! Can't wait until next year. What a defensive battle it was.
Two Houston College football teams playing each other is sort of like Seinfeld. A game about nothing. Both are probably funny to watch too. Call me when either team gets in the top 25... maybe I'll care then. Just kidding.... please dont ever call me. Thanks
"The Greatest Show on Grass" didn't have it last night. UofH will murder Rice next season. The only reason Rice won is because of turnovers on special teams.
Pfft, Rice dominated this game. Rice had the ball in the red zone multiple times without scoring (including turning the ball over on downs at the coogs' 1 yard line). Without your TD with 9 seconds to go, the Coogs would have been shutout. You have to hand it to the Rice defense. Rice didn't win simply due to turnovers on special teams. Why don't you bet big on next year's game? Apparently some people haven't yet learned their lesson. FYI, Rice is now the home of the Bayou Bucket, the Bayou Cup (basketball) and the Silver Glove. UH athletics is clearly inferior to Rice's program right now.
I agree Rice is much better in basketball and baseball but even you have to admit that UH has more talent than Rice has on the football field. Kolb is one of the best Sophomore QB's in the country and if he was on his game UH would have won by three touchdowns. Plus the #1 corner didn't play, #1 KR didn't play, and the #2 WR didn't play for UofH.
